Embrace your creed

  It's very tempting trying not to write about personal stuffs.  Whether it's about an event that's very meaningful to you or about a person you dislike; expressing it in any forms you could think of is inevitable.  But through blogging, in my opinion, is not one of those forms that's necessary.  So, what would I write about? My blog's title might give you a hint.  "Embrace your Creed"; could I--no, scratch that, should I write about my political believes? Should I write about Islam and other religions; regardless of the sensitivity of it? No, I believe that the world nowadays, the Islamic world to be more specific, lacks of that 'spark' in films, animations, comics and so on.  That spark that amazes you when you've just read a good book or watch an epic film like The Godfather, The Dark Knight and Inception (my personal favorites).  Excuses such as it's just entertainment or the after life is more important are always used to for this disappointment.  Islam encourages us to spread it's teachings and why couldn't we do it with the entertainment industry? Rather than making films that remind us nothing but pure pleasures such as Basic Instinct or Jennifer's Body (I dislike these films), we should somehow make films that could captive our imagination while realizing us the beauty of Islam.  This is my creed; to one day enjoy an epic film while grasp the Islamic message within it.  So, I shall write about my thoughts on films, games, comics and so on to realize myself and future film makers that there's always a way to achieve greatness in this life and the next; Insya Allah (if god wills it).


 And another thing; I plan to be an Animator, writer/artist for comic books. I'm not sure about being a film director....yet. Just a heads up :p   nanti orang kata poyo pulak kalau aku asyik complain psl filem  :D
